Many different types of oral health care providers could become involved in the care of your teeth, gums, and mouth.
A brief description of these various health care providers is as follows:
- Complete Dentures
- Partial Dentures
- Implant supported Dentures
- Flexible Dentures
- Immediate Dentures
- Denture Adjustments
- Denture relines
- Soft relines
- Same day repairs and relines
- Night Guards/ Mouth Guards/ sport guards
Implant supported Dentures
An implant-supported denture is a type of denture that is supported by and attached to implants. A regular denture rests on the gums, and is not supported by implants. An implant-supported denture has special attachments that snap onto attachments on the implants.
Removable Dentures
Dentures are custom-made replacements for missing teeth and can be taken out and put back into your mouth.
Flexible Dentures
Flexible dentures are a kind of partial denture, but these ones are made of different materials than ordinary partial dentures. Most flexible dentures are made of a thin thermoplastic such as nylon, compared to the thicker, more rigid acrylic used in full dentures.
Immediate Dentures
Immediate dentures are dentures that are inserted into a patient’s mouth immediately after their teeth are removed. The advantage of immediate dentures is that you can walk away with a full smile the same day, immediately following the removal of natural teeth.
